All cosmetic medical treatments provided at this clinic are delivered within an appropriate framework of medical oversight, clinical governance, patient safety, and professional accountability, and in accordance with applicable Australian legislation, regulatory requirements, professional standards, and clinical guidelines.
Registered nurses providing cosmetic medical treatments work collaboratively with appropriately qualified and authorised medical practitioners and/or nurse practitioners, who provide prescribing services, medical oversight, clinical support, and escalation pathways where required.
Prior to any prescription-only cosmetic medical treatment, each patient undergoes an individualised clinical consultation and assessment with an authorised prescriber. Treatment suitability is determined on an individual basis, taking into consideration the patient's medical history, clinical presentation, treatment goals, potential contraindications, risks, expected benefits, and available alternatives. Where clinically appropriate, an individual prescription is issued before treatment proceeds.
Registered nurses administer prescribed medicines only within their professional scope of practice and in accordance with the patient's individual treatment plan, applicable medicines and poisons legislation, professional standards, and the directions of the authorised prescriber.
The clinic maintains appropriate systems for informed consent, clinical documentation, medication management, infection prevention and control, adverse-event recognition and management, clinical escalation, emergency procedures, follow-up care, and continuity of care.
Patient safety remains the primary consideration in all clinical decision-making. Treatment may be declined, postponed, modified, or referred for further medical assessment whenever the treating clinician or authorised prescriber determines that proceeding would not be clinically appropriate.
All practitioners remain individually responsible for practising within their professional scope, maintaining appropriate registration and competency, and meeting the standards and codes applicable to their profession.
Through this medical oversight and clinical governance framework, the clinic is committed to providing cosmetic medical treatments that are safe, ethical, evidence-informed, patient-centred, and compliant with applicable Australian regulatory requirements.
Please note: Treatment results vary between individuals. All treatments are subject to consultation, informed consent, clinical suitability and any applicable legal or regulatory requirements.
